- What makes an estimate go up?
- Vehicle size, extra seating rows, embedded pet hair, heavy staining, sand, smoke odor, oxidized or etched paint, and the level of paint correction required. Each of those adds real hours, not a markup.
- Is mobile detailing more expensive than a shop?
- Not inherently. You're paying for the same labor, minus your drive time and waiting. What mobile service does require is a workable parking space and, for coating work, ideally shade or a garage.
- Can I get a price over the phone?
- Usually a realistic range, yes. Photos of the interior and any paint problems make it much more accurate, and we confirm the final scope before starting work.
